First results of this year's gentian count: despite the drought, they are thriving in some places
Drought does not benefit these rare meadow plants, although in some places, they are thriving surprisingly well. For example more than 16,000 specimens bloomed this year at the Kopičácký rybník National Nature Monument in the Nymburk region. The overall results of the nationwide survey will be available in October.
